0 What does it take to get people to talk about domestic abuse ?

On today’s show I had a 1 hour of advice and today’s topic was domestic violence which was a serious and sensitive topic.




Domestic violence signs:

Verbal – shouting, mocking, name calling

Control- threatening to withheld money, telling you have no choice, trying to commit suicide.

Disrespect – always putting you down in front of people, not listening or responding to you when you’re speaking.

Breaking trust – lying to you, being jealous, and being in other relationships.
Isolation- mentoring or blocking your phone calls, stopping you from seeing friends and family.

Physical violence – punching, kicking, pulling hair out, strangling.
